Nice work-life balance
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Work-life balance
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Might be good to rethink the size of some groups. I think if teams are too big for too long it can be complicated to handle.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
I guess it is team dependent but in general it was great
Kommunikation
Never had an issue
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Team was young overall and a mixture of nationalities. Good ambience
Work-Life-Balance
I think that was the best asset of the company. Flexible schedule and no micromanagement chasing you to be in the office if no need. They let you organize your time freely, as long as you are productive and get your job done.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Upper management seems to be doing a great job and takes care of employees. Middle management is not as good, depends a lot from the team.
Interessante Aufgaben
Overall projects were interesting although there were periods of repetitive tasks.
Gleichberechtigung
They are trying. Not always 100%, never had an issue personally but saw a couple of things around me that made me wonder.
- A colleague was not promoted although she was definitely ready and suitable for the position (she just came back from her second maternity leave). Some other male colleague got the promotion.
- A colleague was not treated respectfully during meetings. Constantly interrupted and put down. No actions were taken.
Someone can think that those are situations that can happened independently of the gender but the reality is that equality is something we still need to keep fighting for.
Arbeitsbedingungen
There is a big social room that was used as meeting point for informal talks or coffee breaks. There is also an outdoor area to have lunch. I think it was a big plus for nice ambience.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Overall is OK!
Salary is not the highest compared to other companies around but NXP Austria offers great benefits in terms of additional holidays and home office possibilities which need to be taken into account.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Might be difficult in some departments, really depends on the manager
