Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Centralized HR is pushing a lot of good initiatives into the divisions.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Centralized IT is cumbersome and tries to fight of work before assessing it.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Reduce hierarchy levels. Too many people try to protect their position.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The organization is quite complex but most of the people try help each other. Still there is a tendency for "self promoting" instead of seeing the the team effort behind.

Kommunikation

I got the luck of having a department leader that is very open also shares insights. This helps me taking decisions or steering the momentum in the right direction

Kollegenzusammenhalt

given within the individual departments but there is still many people triey to hold onto their own gardens.

Work-Life-Balance

A company takes what it gets. However, I admit that Franke did a big leap in the past years and modernized how it sees employees. I miss sometimes the trust in the skills and capabilities of the people.

There are many "old guard" of management members that hold onto they little kingdom and that won't admit that they do not know everything.

Interessante Aufgaben

We are a growing and successful company with happy customers and good products. There is a lot to improve and fortunately we also have the resources to do so.

I see both genders across all positions and levels equally represented.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

There are many older (and long-time) employees that grew with Franke CS

Arbeitsbedingungen

The building is outdated and employee facilities are horrible since ever. It is high time to invest in new showers, wash rooms and a modern office atmosphere. The equipment itself is new and well suited for the work. What I can't get my head around is, why IT can't invest into equally good peripherals.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Absolutely, a lot was done. Many people are working dedicated for this topic. Could provide benefits for foot, bike, public transportation commuting. Or making it more attractive by providing modern and safe cycling parking instead of building more and more car parking lots.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Benefits and Salary are good. No complaints.

Most complaints I hear every day is about the hierarchy and the silos/kingdom thinking of individuals. I got the feeling that in the past 5 Years that other divisions do not like collaborate a lot

There are many options available. However many of them rely / depend on a good relationship with the superior.
