Arbeitsatmosphäre

Probably the worst working culture I've ever seen. Very old fashion dictatorship style of management and strong hierarchy. You're being watched and every mistake is being recorded. No personal phone allowed. You are there only to work, not to socialize. Weird office rules which you have to memorize and proof you have memorized them by passing an exam. Middle management is incapable and lazy. Huge staff turnover

Only from top to down. Regular organizational changes just for the sake of appearances, probably to intimidate staff.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Colleagues are great and from many different backgrounds and nationalities. You can make good connections and lifelong friendships in here. Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to socialize during office hours and the culture doesn't encourage for it.

No flexibility in work time, but usually no need for overtime

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The worst management ever, their only purpose is to intimidate staff to feel superior and empowered. Employees are treated like garbage and some of the actions are barely legal.

Work is repetitive and not very interesting. No development opportunities

Nice location near the Zug station, good shopping and lunch opportunities. Office space is clean and new. Open office where everyone can be constantly watched. No privacy. Only one restroom to share

The fluctuation rate of the company is in line with or even below the average in comparable industrial companies. The average employee length of service exceeds 5 years, and 20% of our employees have been working for our company for more than 10 years. The management and all our senior staff are very experienced and passionate about their jobs which is reflected in our outstanding performance and market/clients recognition; to call them "lazy" is very brave.

It is also important for us that our employees stay connected; we promote team events, staff lunches and much more. Socializing during and after working hours is a common practice. We regret that you have never been involved.

We invest a lot in our premises and are proud of our aesthetic and art-inspired working environment. Fortunately, our offices do have more than one toilet in each floor.

Offering our employees various career opportunities is a matter of principle for us; not only promotion, job enrichment, additional responsibilities but also educational trainings, scholastic studies, etc. are considered.

We pay salaries and benefits according market standards and follow yearly reviews and goals planning very cautiously. We compete with large multinationals and can only attract highly intelligent, qualified and loyal candidates if we offer an attractive environment and career path. GSCF is part of one of the world largest Private Equity Groups and has a highly reputable Board of Directors; hence the company follows very strict operation rules which are required to protect our leading position in the supply chain financing space.

We are also aware that a strictly disciplined and detailed oriented working atmosphere can be misunderstood and interpreted as “old fashioned” by certain individuals.
