Kommunikation

Completely inacceptable when it comes to crucial decisions which affect employees directly. It is more a 'Eat or die' communication style making you wonder how this can still be tolerated and done in the year 2021.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

A big plus and imho the main reason why not even more mates have already left the ship in tremendous turbulences - caused by multiple decisions and actions in the past.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Depends. Do not expect too much as employee. If you like you have to decide on your own if you want to play the game and accept whats going on,because the behaviour and competences of leads are no point of discussion anyway for the company

Interessante Aufgaben

It depends on what you are working on. The most important thing is a well-working Website and compliance stuff.

Dear IT colleague,

we are very sorry to read that you rate your time at bet-at-home so low. We would like to comment on a few things though.
First of all, it´s great that you value the cohesion within the team so highly. It is one of our main goals that each and every employee is enjoying the time with their team as this is whom most of our working days are spent with. We have very strong team structures that work well and it is something we are proud of.

As goes for all areas in life: Nobody is perfect. We are continuously working on bettering ourselves and the work environment. A part of this is setting up new communication structures and communicating a vast range of topics with everyone. It takes time to establish them but please rest assured that we are doing our best to make communication even more transparent going forward. Most times, the CEOs have to make decisions and they are communicated top-down. As in most companies, this can not be a democratic vote for everyone as decisions would probably not be made in a timely manner. However, the management and the board always make decisions to their best knowledge with the whole company and its success as their focus.

Developments do not happen overnight and Rome wasn´t built in a day. We are taking one step at a time, but we are indeed moving forward.

Another thing we would like to point out is that we trust our Head of Departments and team leaders tremendously. They were chosen for their roles due to their knowledge, experience, and overall leadership skills. However, if there are issues occurring we can only do better if we know about them. This means that we pride ourselves in having an open-door policy for all employees. Each employee can come to HR and discuss the topics you mentioned directly with us and together we will try to come up with solutions rather than letting problems linger.

As you are still one of our colleagues, feel free to come by the HR office, and let´s discuss the apparent issues together. We are sure we will find a way to better the situation and gain some mutual understanding.
