The company was very profitable. Think about who made this possible, even in times of crisis.
The office is very big with an open and friendly atmosphere and the colleagues were always very helpful and friendly. I was also impressed by how multinational the office and its employees were. In general, I had a great experience at the company and was able to learn a lot from it.

bloss nix anschaffen was den Arbeitsplatz komfortabler macht
I have worked for this company for 5 years, and the company went through many transformations (management changes, restructuring) which were not easy for all of us and caused a lot of frustration.
The only reason why I stayed was because my my department was quite stable and my upper managers were very reasonable even in those hard times, in other departments it was worse.
Since the latest CEO and management change, the company has transformed again, but this time there is finally a good direction, and a long term strategy. It is obvious that the current CEO is focusing on stability and we don't expect any change in management or any restructuring anytime soon.
Also, an improvement is that we have a Worker's Council.
No idea how the internal image of GB is compared to the outside image because GB is not very well known by people in Europe.
Generally quite ok. No issues with vacation approvals. Flexible work times and can take some time off if you have some overtime.
Changing internally after a while is possible, since it is a big company there are many oportunities.
Language courses are being offered (english, german).
There are not many professional trainings offered altough there should theoretically be some budget reserved for trainings, some teams get this, and others not.
Salaries are paid on time, never had any delays. Salaries can be quite good in GB compared to the market (but of course it depends on the skills and how you negotiate).
This is the best part of GB, the colleagues are friendly and helpful. It is a multinational and multicultural environment which I can see as a big plus.
no issues here.
The company is quite big so I cannot generalize, but in my department there is open communication between management and employees, and nothing frustrating or ridiculous going on.
There are 2-3 frustrating managers around but I am happy to not have anything to do with them.
The office looks good (google Rivergate). There is a temperature difference between floors and some people complain that it is too hot in summer on the upper floors and too cold on the lower floors, but this is an issue of the building, not a GB issue.
Cross department communication could be better.
no issues here.
There were times in the past when the workload was absolutely crazy (it also had to do with certain managers pushing for insane project deadlines). Fortunately management changed, the workload is now reasonable with realistic deadlines.
The best is that we work by owr own on our goals and projects, being supported but not micromanaged.
Honestly, there´s not much I could say...
There is so much. I´d probably waste a couple of hours of my life to nail it down.
Fire your "Management" and get some good people on board.
Extremelly high fluctuation.
No one knows this company
forget your life - you´ll spend hours and hours and hours... fixing failing and crashing systems
The only thing that kept me happy - cool chaps.
Not able to come to a conclusive, sustainable decision. No clue about leadership or management.
well, this improved a bit with the move to the new office.
No clue about anything that happens on top management level. Every decision was made in secrecy.
Not over the top, but okay.
Crashing systems - permanently.
People are generally open minded and helpfull.
The pile of work would have potential to stress out everyone but its is agreed to work things out from the top as good as possible
There are sometimes trainigs for specificare short term needs but could be more aligned to the interests and mid to long term goals
Nothing Special here
Lots of activities. Super workers council.
Managers are good in representing the interests of their teams. A bit more empathy to other teams and departements could improve the work
Top
Good improvements here. Less promises more facts. Still usual political talks in parts or the organization. The journey looks promising
Woman are treated equally. Different cultures and nationalities work together side by side. Professionality is more important than differences
Therefore a lot of interesting topics but its hard to break out of tradition. Improvements come along in rather small portions. The need is identified and addressed the strategy
International enviroment
Due to endless changing of management the company appears unstable.
Organize more events to bring people together.
