It's an old fashioned boys club! Women stay assistants, men become managers!

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Competitive salary, free lunch, discounts.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Assistants/specialists/coordinators vs. managers - it is ridiculous how they refuse to change job titles to what people are actually achieving and doing. As if they were afraid to call someone (especially a woman) a project manager.
With that issue they do not show their appreciation towards their employees.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

I don't know where to start.
Your upper management are dinosaurs - they won't change the way they work and will always hold on to their conservative way of doing things.
You need to promote your employees and give them room to grow and change things!

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Just do as you are told and shut up.

Kommunikation

Communication is always reactive and not transparent enough for employees to understand what is going on in the group.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

There is a great spirit amongst employees who feel that they are all in the same boat. It's them against the rest of Red Bull's poor management.

Work-Life-Balance

The company pretends to offer flexible working hours. However, if you are not in the office by 09.00 am in the morning and don't stay longer than 18.00 your managers will have a problem with that. Instead of addressing this they will quietly make a note and throw that at you at a later more convenient to them stage.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Employees and middle management are actually scared of their superiors (head of departments). It is ridiculous to watch a grown up man/woman stand nervously in front of their bosses office waiting for their meeting pacing up and down the corridors.
Management on several occasions raise their voice and talk you down.
If you don't speak up and just live with it you are fine but don't dare to say anything else.

Interessante Aufgaben

You get to work on great projects and definitely learn a lot.

Gleichberechtigung

Women who have worked for the company for years are not being promoted and stay "assistants" although they do the work of project managers.

Men who started as interns are being promoted to managers after 6 months. Where was there time as assistant/coordinator/specialist?!

It's a boys club....

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Employees who have worked at Red Bull for decades are being let go because they might have disagreed with top management once.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The offices are great.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

I don't see Red Bull as an environmentally friendly company at all.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The salaries are competitive and there are bonuses once a year. However, given that you most likely will never be promoted you have to negotiate every year.

Image

Red Bull still have a good image and employer branding - the problem ist that it is not authentic. They will always attract new talent but will never be able to retain the good people.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There are no development options.
