HR should actively represent the values of the company : service oriented, polite and respectful, answering to questions completely and not partially, giving advice about further steps, if necessary. There must be an equal interest towards people that are interested in the company. The young lady I had on the phone was completely the contrary, I did not even get to know if she was an HR employee (or if she was the reception desk lady). Shall I understand that this might be the real working atmosphere of the company? If not, it is quite shocking to find this kind of employee (who is still working for the company).
