People are generally afraid to speak up openly. The so called surveys are an improper instrument, as the results are then discussed in the leadership meetings (results of 5-8 colleagues) and as such a lot of pressure comes up, that “we” need to look better, so you get pressed to give better (“appropriate”) answers in the next survey. Colleagues complain a lot and they are right but nobody dares to say anything contrarion to the shiny-colorful-we are the best-be quiet and smile cultural strategy

A lot of totally useless stuff. Just look at their new performance measurement and communication thereof. Makes me laugh

Lol. Novaris talks a lot about that. As usual at Novartis, nothing fits together. And then you still have the little emporers (the line managers and department leads) which just continue as they always did. Especially in GDD, NTO and TRD

Line managers are not selected according to their ability to lead. I was a line manager but gave up. You are just pushed to press people and make shiny power points how great your department is
