Start to trust your employees. Hire managers that are more experienced in people management, introduce more motivating mission and objective. Do justice to your social responsibility.

There is little trust for the employees, which is the biggest problem. In my team the atmosphere was disillusioning due to high turnover rates.

A lot is going on behind the curtains that you are not aware of.

At least for my team barely present, people look for themselves only.

Work-Life-Balance

Extra hours are the rule rather than the exception. If you enjoy sitting in meeting, this company is for you. It seems that for every meeting there is another meeting to organize it. Meetings anytime and everywhere, but little alignment. It's insane.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Managers mostly stay among managers and as an employer you have the feeling of being a second class citizen; not valued and not trusted. Most of the good managers also left the company.

Interessante Aufgaben

The only objectives that exist are financial ones, there is no higher purpose.

I had the feeling that there was a complete lack of awareness for integrity and social responsibility. Especially in business-units that sell financial products.

Hi dear Scouty,
thank you for the feedback and for taking the time to come on the platform and to share. We are really interested to learn and to get better as an employer, so we appreciate your effort here.

I completely understand that the level of change and uncertainty at the moment is higher than usual. Our company and our industry are agile even at the best of times. Now, however, there is a lot of movement on the market and we are adapting to it. Yes, there are more meetings than usual, as we try to be as transparent as possible. We offer you plenty of different platforms and ways of interaction with us, to share your view and give us your ideas. If not all of these meetings fulfill the expectations you had - I am sorry about that.

We did work on a clear purpose and mission statement and the recent past and communicated it broadly. We as a company have a clear goal to simplify customers' life and are committed to that. I take from your feedback, however, that we can do a better job in communicating that.

We do trust our employees very much. We invite them to workshops, meetings, chats etc. to help us shape our company and design new ways of working. We know that we have some of the best talents in the market and it would be a shame not to listen to their opinions and ideas. We can, however, not ask every employee on every subject pro-actively. So we select those subject matter experts that are most obviously fit to work on such topics. At the same time, we invite everyone to share their ideas and thoughts around any subject and let their ideas compete with ours.

I would love to hear more from you, how exactly we could do better and what it is you are missing. Please drop by at our HR office, or write us a mail or Slack message with your ideas. We can also sit down by the Bixtro and have a coffee together and discuss that. Btw. we do have regular Townhall and AMA (ask me anything) sessions, which you can also use to voice your opinion. I am looking forward to hearing more from you.
