I got a first interview couple of years ago, I applied again for a different position and the HR manager rejected me on the principle. I called in order to clarify the situation and she simply took her old note of previous interview in which I admit , I was not well prepared and said something like "you were bad, you are still bad" no possibility to get heard and present valuable arguments.
I think it is a pitty for the company and it is definitely a disappointment for me to be blacklisted by one person at the HR.
Talking to recruiter afterwards, this practice of sensirion seems to be known.... so be sure and well prepared if you apply, you will have only one chance in a life....

During the interview process at Sensirion, HR employees and line managers always decide together whether or not to hire a given candidate. Shortly after the interviews, a follow-up discussion is held where the potential superior and recruiting manager analyze the impression an applicant has made.
There is no doubt that the first impression an applicant leaves during a personal interview is often definitive and stays with us. Indeed, we think it is important that applicants prepare well for the interview and sufficiently research the company and our technology prior to talking with us.
