Salary, communication, consistency

Make sure the salaries are adjusted to the market; initiate some real, consistent and transparent communication with your employees/applicants; find something which makes you really special on the market; - start with these and you will already get/retain more experienced people

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Depends on your project, but the general focus is that you are supposed to bring money, so we all know what this entails in the end.

Kommunikation

This is a really HUGE weakness within the company. You might find certain people who are good communicators, but this appears to be a rare case. The imposed channels/protocols of communication are also more of a formality rather than a sight of willingness to get something from it.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Depends on a project. If you are lucky, you get a family-like teammates, if you are not, the "team" is only a formality.

Work-Life-Balance

Again, depends on your project, but the general attitude is that nobody cares, even though formally other things might be told/written.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Very much depends on your superior. Some are really great, some are rather bad. Generally, those following the formal approaches imposed by the company are bad.

Interessante Aufgaben

And again, depends on your project and your definition of "interesting". The focus is on making money, so if your "interest" is getting in the way of that, you know what to expect. :)

Gleichberechtigung

This is generally a very conservative environment, even though, again, it depends on your project/department. But some people can get away with an indirect sexist joke in a "private" conversation, if you will.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Can't comment much on that. The older colleagues I had a chance to work with very quite professional and experienced, so one must be dumb to treat them badly.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Nothing special really compared to the market. Beware that you are obligated to take the 24th and the 31st of December as your vacation, so if you are hired with 30 days of vacation, you technically only have 28. This is also a "good one" for communication. :-D

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Well, the salaries are definitely way below market. So if you are just starting in this business, you might not notice much of a difference, but for experienced colleagues the delta can be quite drastic.

adesso seems to be doing a lot to promote themselves in a certain light, including "promotions" inside the company. The reality is quite surprising though. Jokes about the internal schizophrenia are bound to sparkle soon.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Well, they are proud of having a big catalog of trainings. Like if you needed one in the era of youtube and free educational services. The quality of the internal trainings is sometimes quite low.
As for career development, be prepared to be imposed with some conflicting criteria. And also that different people will be telling you different things.
You will also be "surprised" seeing less experienced people, not matching the imposed criteria, on higher positions.
