Micromanagement, Chaos and no growth opportunity.
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Really? Most of the people - apart from that don´t go there.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Read my review and I could continue or write a book.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Please don´t fake reviews here @kununu. Everyone on the market knows the Amorelie working condition.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Where to start? I started when the company had 85 employees and left 2 years later with around 100 employees - in these 2 years (more or less) people left the company. I have never ever seen such a staff turnover. The excuse of the management was "it is absolutely normal in a startup". People quit their job during company meetings in front of the entire company because they have been treated horrible for years. There is such a bad vibe of working, it is incredible. Micromanagement from a-z. You are a leader and responsible for a team or department but you are not allowed to sign travel expenses. For every Euro the company is spending they want x Euro with a utopia margin back. You have to build constantly business cases for every small business opportunity which has to be approved by management. It is just not fun working like this because no one is trusting you.
Management is creating a chaos working atmosphere. Projects are minimized or being stopped where people worked years on without any explanation. In the end Amorelie is just a cash cow for the big investor and will be sold sooner or later.
Kommunikation
100% chaos. x Amount of people are communicating on
Work-Life-Balance
Depends on the department. I was able to have a good WLB, I know colleagues who had to take there computer on vacation and had to write Mails on the airport straight before check in and straight after check out. Also working late in the evening was a standard practise for some colleagues because they worked in project teams or closely with management.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
No words for that. In 2 years I have seen 7 Director on several positions and they all been kicked out or left within their probation time. It starts with the unexperienced C-level without any management skills.
Interessante Aufgaben
In general task are interesting and it is fun to work for the company but the changing strategy on a daily base is creating so much chaos that person a doesn't know what person b is doing. Also, in this small company there is very strict hierarchy and you can only do things what´s approved in the end by management. If you have experience knowledge in your field and you know what would be write it doesn't count. Management knows better. So in the end you are just someone´s assistant doing what they want you to do. I have burned my fingers manytimes and in two years we have worked again and again on the same project without any result because management had to review the strategy.
Gleichberechtigung
Some people are promoted within their probation time from a head of position to a director and other people are coming with several years of working experience, doing amazing jobs and not getting anything. Also, there is no equality in decision making processes. Management decides only.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
they are basically no older colleagues.
Arbeitsbedingungen
In winter the office is freezing cold. in summer it is brutal hot. IT Equipment is old and not modern and standard. No adjustable desk for people with back problems. No lights at the desk - so people bring these things from home. Of course, you are "important person - defined by management" you get everything. Typical two class society.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Products are mainly produced in china. Some products are just for single use and had to be thrown away because you cant recharge them. No Eco packaging of the products.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
For a highly profitable company the salary is way under the market. Again, some people are extremely paid to much and others are not getting anything. There are people with Master degrees and 4-5 years working experience having the salary of Junior´s because Bonuses are promised, which in the end didn´t been paid out.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
No external workshops for no one. Further education is not part of the culture. The company doesn't care about their employees in the end because if you go, someone else will come and do the job. There are leaders with 29 years old because they have a good connection to management or have been on a "good university" and others are leaving after 3-4 years because they didn't get any promotion or so.
