Arbeitsatmosphäre
Everyone is working to achieve something big ALL together. Everyone is driven and ambitious but that has never affected neither the team spirit nor the leisurely working atmosphere. Additionally friday evenings beers, team lunches/ events and two dedicated well-being managers always made you enjoying going to work.
Kommunikation
Overall the internal communication is working well. You either directly go to the person you need something from or you ask them on Slack. The latter is super convenient in case you or the other person is on a project because you mostly get answer within the next half an hour. In my department you could always ask anyone for help. Sometimes tasks were not completely communicated and then it could happen that they could not be executed sufficiently. However the supervisors are always open for valid criticism as they want to be as efficient as possible and everything to work out smoothly.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Not only in my department but through-out the whole company I experienced a great solidarity. Everyone is interested in you as a person and your academical way. Apart from that you can always ask anyone for help and be certain to get help or an advice right away. Due to the hot desk area system in the office you always get the chance to get to know different people. Mostly the people you work with in the office on that day form like a team-for-the-day and especially when it comes to smaller issues you just quickly ask your colleagues. In my department there are also regular team meetings and lunches. This way not only the great team spirit is being kept up but you also get to know the new colleagues since the company is rapidly growing.
Work-Life-Balance
Celonis is a start-up and there is always lots of work to do. This is why you mostly do not leave the office before 7pm or later. It always depends on your current amount of work. However I never felt obligated to do so. I really liked working there and you did not mind staying there for longer but it´s certainly not the typical nine to five job.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
The supervisors are super busy but you can still always go to them and they are always ready to lend you an ear. In general you more feel like talking to friend than to your boss. They regularly step by your office for a status update what mostly ends up in a nice chat. They are interested in you as person and are open for criticism.
Interessante Aufgaben
My tasks varied and were very diverse. Most of them were very interesting and sometimes challenging. That is what I loved about it! In total the interesting tasks dominated.
Gleichberechtigung
As a female I did not experience any sign of discrimination.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are not elderly colleagues. The average age is 30. But I was one of the youngest interns and that was not a problem at all and the few older people there were treated and respected as everyone else.
Arbeitsbedingungen
You could literally live in the office. Everything is super modern, clean and you feel very comfortable. Fresh fruits, cereals, sweets and drinks are always provided.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
They give their best. They have a waste separation system, only glass bottles and generally try to prevent unnecessary plastic.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Celonis is still a start-up and that explains why Celonis is probably not the best paying employees compared to more consolidated companies. The salary is still sufficient and the career opportunities are unique.
