Even though management is super busy and would probably lose sleep, they're always willing to help you with what you need.
As long as everyone does the paperwork and informs people of their findings and experience for the day, it's great.
As long as you follow the rules, you're able to work as freely as you want.
Working overnights you're left by yourself (and any staff with you) for the duration and trusted to complete the tasks needed for the night.
Sometimes communication can be a little scattered and details missing.
No discrimination here, everyone payed the same and treated the same.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
We all treated each other with respect. Especially the older ones that have been working here for a long time.
Karriere / Weiterbildung
Can't think of much professional development you can have. Nothing to help you become a doctor or anything like that really.
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
It was enough to live on for me. With current problems we can't get raised much more. Some mornings were very stressful while others were very relaxing to work with. I feel I was payed correctly for what I worked for.
With overnights (only shifts I did) your office is the house you're working at. It's comfortable and makes you feel a lot less stressed than working in a cubicle or something.
Umwelt- / Sozialbewusstsein
A few houses have recycling of aluminum cans. Mostly it's just your average work place.
They're super good with adjusting your schedule for your irl events. While you do have to find your own coverage (managers will help if needed) they'll adjust schedules for example if you have a 2nd job or school.
I'm extremely proud to be working for this company. It really feels great you're helping the mentally disabled.
- We need more employees is the biggest issue. Mandatory overtime is common simply because we don't have the staff.
The coworkers are one of my favorite things. While like every company there's a few bad apples, most of them are super cheerful and fun to be around.
Mostly just the problem of lack of employees. People tend to think the job is much harder than it is when they're in training and back out.
If you're looking to work here, the training will make you think you gotta do all that stuff a lot. The time I've worked here never once have I had to do CPR, restrain someone, etc.
It's a really nice and enjoyable job, just that people overthink it and back out.
