The overall culture is good, leadership is never behind its staff.
Sometimes it's there and others not so much.
There is good teamwork among the employees in the field mostly, but tends to be a lot of drama.
Administration tends to leave this department alone, unless the drama gets to bad.
I manage the Solid Waste Department and at times it takes days to get a response.

I have been here for almost 19 years, and I love my job protecting the environment, and have built myself up from entry level tomanagement.
Can not trust office personnel,

To your face friendly behind your back, they talk bad about your and your problems work related and private.
Balance is ok, except when you are worried about someone's drama causing problems.
I am very proud of our facility, but not the County as a whole.
- More trust in key employees, and more focus on compensation, what we do is dangerous
The investment that is put into keeping the facility moving to the future.
