I would only recommend it to Freelancers.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

- Hire Leaders with higher experience and not just friends who have no clue. There is one coming and he already made a stupid mistake. Guys: Please open your eyes and not just trust your friends and gut feeling.
- Plan and organize

- Don’t hire someone if you already have 2 Freelancers who Are doing the same job. Or: just don’t hire people and just work with freelancers. You trust them way more and you are always satisfied with everything we do.

- don’t fire people one day before their probation ends

- don’t buy expensive services from agencies just because their are your friends
It’s funny: On the one hand your junior who works it’s ass off, gets paid below average but it’s not a problem to stick a huge amount of money in agencies who deliver way below average?

- Please create a 1:1 Sheet that has to be signed by the team lead and the worker
- C Level should also know what’s going on inside of the teams. Make sure you listen to them and not just your beloved friends.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

All the coworkers are very nice. Due to the fact that people got cut off one day before the end of their probation, a lot of them are super insecure and sad. Also Freelancers, Agencies and Friends have more to say then the people who are actually working their asses Off.

Tipp: Be Friends with the C Level or just don’t work there full time. Always Mention for what companies you worked before. It’s the best way. Worked for A big Company like Bosch, Daimler, Siemens etc? Good! Tell it all the time. You just have to be very confident and tell them „well at the big company XYZ we did it like that“ and you immediately win everything.

Kommunikation

A lot of meetings and there is a all hands every month. But the internal communication is not working at all. Feels like they don’t actually know what they are doing. A lot of Ad Hoc work because they can’t plan a simple thing. If they have something in mind they just do it. Even though other things are still not ready.

Work-Life-Balance

I am a freelancer. So I am fine. Full time people are almost sitting there every day till 8-10pm. Or have to work during their vacation. And it’s not getting appreciated.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

All „Heads“ are nice people. But they are not leaders. They are not able to communicate, plan, organize or lead. Thats the main problem in this company. Fresh out of the university, entrepreneurs or just people bragging about their ex-positions.

Don’t get me wrong: they are ambitious and sure experts in their field. They just don’t know how to be a real team lead.

Gleichberechtigung

Everybody knows.

And there is just one Women who made it into the c level.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

We don’t really have that much. Maybe 2?

Nice office and dogs.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

As a freelancer you earn a lot for a bit of work.
Full time: start up salary.

They have to fight against all the Orthodontists. They want to be premium but therefore they have to upgrade.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

I’ve seen a lot of new people coming into this company. They hire usually young and ambitious people and pay them below average. Then they give them a lot of work and leave them alone with it. They don’t have the time to show you some new skills.
A lot of them are super insecure and overwhelmed. I saw a lot of tears in the past month.

But the only thing they hear is: that’s start up mentality. And Guys: that’s not! There are a lot of start ups out there who handle this way better and pay fair. Don’t hire a junior when you actually need a two senior ?

Also : They have Confluence but they don’t use it except the tech department.
