Doesn't matter if you work hard or not, most important how good your relationship with some managers.

No career supervision, they still think the company is one big family and the skills don't matter, what matters is how nice you are.

Interessante Aufgaben

The platform itself is chaos, built by some architects that they have no clue about modern distributed systems.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

You need to be careful with the older colleagues, some of them are working as a developer for more than 10 years.
Most managers also got their position because they are old in the company and they have no idea about IT in the real world.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Their strategy is to hire the cheapest developers, they ended up by a bunch of juniors and mid-level developers, you can imagine the quality of the code they produce

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Not career path, no vision, you start as a developer and you'll leave as a developer.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, while I am sorry your experience at EQS Group has not matched our goal of being a fantastic employer to all our employees. We are and have always been confident about the products we create, and passionate about the people we hire and work with every day.

Since we take your opinion very seriously, we would like to provide you with a more detailed comment on some aspects you mentioned. One area we are constantly working on is developing all our employees to ensure their successful professional and personal growth. We are offering different training and development opportunities as well as we are continuously working on reviewing and improving the career path and making it more transparent. We firmly agree with you that your development should be reflected by your competence and character, not with the quality of your relationship with your manager. In this regard, we are always valuing an open communication and are actively enhancing a trustworthy feedback culture – the doors of our supervisors, management and HR department are always open and everyone is willing to receive feedback in order to ensure improvements on every level.
