Arbeitsatmosphäre

People were very friendly and supportive. The only issues I experienced by dealing with unexperienced managers who jumped in their new roles. In my team my manager always tried to push his strange visions and weird expectations, all this simply demotivated me. Same goes with other colleagues, they had same feelings. Too much "cheap and foreign" people was hired as a result the overall picture was not very representative for the company. Low English level and low skill-set has negatively reflected on the quality of a product.

Kommunikation

A lot of brainwashing of employees with some key words like transparency, passion and etc. You just have to hear it in all the event which sounded funny after x-times.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The colleagues are nice and friendly but there is a high lack of skills almost in every branch.

Work-Life-Balance

Depends on the department, some of the people worked really a lot, some of them not.

Interessante Aufgaben

Indeed, the products are very unique and it was interesting to influence on the growth and development.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Very low salaries for such a company who is basically a number one in their field. Also, the status which they claim themselves do not match what they pay. It is very important to get the well salary at the beginning, otherwise no one is interested in a good upgrade/raise. And it does not matter how productive you work.

3 points which destroys the overall image: 1) non-competent managers 2) brainwashing 3) salaries are way to behind the market.
If any of these points would be changed, then it would be a good place to work, especially taking in count the central location.

It is very hard to grow here, almost no opportunities.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the career opportunities and leadership strategy at EQS. We take your feedback seriously and we would like to inform you that in the meantime, we have been working extensively on our overall Culture and Talent strategy. This includes, among other things, building up an in-depth leadership program, which we intend to introduce soon to better support our managers in providing a stimulating work environment for all our team members. Furthermore, we are currently working on expanding our Learning and Development capacities to offer continuous personal and professional development for our employees. Since the beginning of the year, we offer Mental Health Masterclasses and the opportunity for one-to-one coaching sessions with an external Mental Health Coach with very positive feedback from our employees.

We regret that in your opinion our employees have a low English level and skill set. We at EQS are passionate about the people we hire, and we make sure they bring not only the right skills, but also reflect our values to fit into our company culture. It has become more and more important for us to employ as many diverse and highly skilled people as possible, since in our opinion, this inspires creativity and drives innovation, which in turn, significantly improves our products.
