General atmosphere friendly and supportive but a lot of underlying dissatisfaction, power struggles and high pressure.

I was under the impression the upper people in the company try to literally brainwash their employees with certain terms, using 'transparency' and 'trust' as a shield for any kind of decision that was taken no matter what.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
That was the upside for me. Met some really cool and capable people.
Work-Life-Balance
My question to the manager if working with slightly reduced hours was - instead of simply saying "No, this is not a good idea because a, b and c" - rewarded with talks with the board that I should ask myself if our mindsets were aligned, that I best be working day and night and that my first thought in the morning needs to be EQS and so should be the last one going to bed. I spoke up against it and that's when the situation turned for me and the board against me. It went from an throughoutly positive midterm probation period talk with lots of praise with my manager to being put under extreme pressure that was of course not reflected in my salary.

Really bad leadership in marketing providing only little guidance or protection. Company banned us from taking holidays in Q4. People who you don't report to from the top put you under pressure.
Interessante Aufgaben
Definitely. Loved the tasks and finding my way through the chaos in this new role. A lot of tasks are not clearly assigned though so we did a lot of inefficient double efforts leading to too many loops and slow results.
Gleichberechtigung
This is an interesting aspect. There are no women in the board. They claimed they want to improve equality. Status quo I felt the board had a lot of issues talking to a woman and accepting her advice and standpoints. In one talk I was asked to give myself school marks for what I had done so far (??) I don't believe he would have asked the same question to a man. HR people are a different story and displayed a lot of respect, understanding and empathy.

Despite the level of noise in the big office spaces.... Nice and centrally located building and good IT.
