The directors give consultants a good amount of time to grow into the role and start billing. They provide support and will mentor the more junior recruiters. Very forthcoming and willing to listen and take into account any issues or concerns you have as well as planning an action to help relieve the problem.

Excellent company incentives which have targets tailored for both Juniors and Seniors. the directors sit with the consultants on the work floor rather than in their own offices making it a meritocracy environment to work in.

I couldn't fault the communication at Franklin Fitch. We received team meetings every Monday, Monthly Business Reviews and End of Month meetings, keeping us up to date with self-progress and the companies progress.

Work-Life-Balance
360 recruitment is a difficult job that isn't easily managed in a 9 hour day. You end up working outside of core hours and sometimes on the weekend. Activity means money and it's the price you pay if you want to be successful as a recruiter. We had a unlimited amount of holidays and you need to request 2 weeks before the date you want off. Also, the company tries to avoid more than one person in each team being off at the same time. They are fairly flexible too.

It doesn't matter how long you are in a company when it comes to rewards. You get rewarded on your merits and working effort in the company.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Great office, very 'New York Loft' style with ping pong table, arcade machine, dartboard and a bar. The kitchen is lovely and large windows so very good ventilation. They give each consultant two screens per computer which is definitely an added bonus when working in recruitment.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
All consultants start on the same salary and it is increased as your career develops. Incentives for consultants who reach certain targets are great! The company pays for any trips away and they organise a number of social nights out, usually due to targets reached by the consultants.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
The company gives clear guidelines on how to progress your career. The UK market is more difficult to progress quickly in and realistically you would be looking about 1.5/2 years to make senior consultant. However, I did see consultants become senior within a year while I was working at Franklin Fitch. Excellent outsourced trainers are brought in to help develop your recruitment skills and the directors also provide on desk reviews and listening exercises. Probably one of the best training programmes I've seen.
