No one talks to each other, professionally or personally. It is like working in a library.
Some people are great, some work like they live in a cave
Upper management will sometimes assign 2 people in charge and they tell you to do different things. Managers fail to tell you what is going on with a project. Different depts. do not talk to each other.
It's an engineering firm, so mostly men by default. New HR person has done a better job at diversity, though

Most of the people I have worked with on projects have been great. Some love to copy & paste and do not think.

This is one of the worst characteristics of this company.
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
They pay well when you start, but the raises come few and far in between. New HR person just started doing performance reviews. Had my first one and I've been here nearly a decade.
Across the river from Union Station...easy commute. The building management tries.
You can be the person that comes in every weekend if you want, but there is no reward. Be smart and leave at 5.
it's better than it used to be. There is a better group of people here now than, say 7 yrs ago
- Put people on different jobs to help develop them, especially when they repeatedly ask, instead of sticking them on the same project type year after year after year
