When enrollment is good, it's one big family. When it's not, it's every person for themselves.
Management strives for inclusiveness in areas such as filling vacant executive and department manager positions, strategic planning, space reallocation, and budgeting.
However, the executive team does not work as a cohesive unit. Some set data-driven expectations while others create lofty goals based on emotion. The result is a lack of a shared vision that everyone can realistically work towards achieving.
In general, people accept the fact that they can't accomplish their goals without the help of others, and managers are experienced with creating functional teams.
Information is shared through email announcements and an all-hands meeting each semester.
The older men on the executive team show more tolerance for female employees making mistakes than they do for male employees. In other words, they think men are strong and intelligent, and women are feebleminded and prone to screwing up.

To be honest, I was grossly overpaid.
Seems to vary between departments.
Used to be better, but negative press stemming from the law school being named in a class action lawsuit tarnished the brand, despite the court's decision to drop the university from the class action based on a lack of evidence.
- Most of the executive leadership has turned over since I worked here, so I don't feel it would be right for me to answer this question.
Unlike most universities, GGU's offices and academic departments are not siloed which makes it easy to get cooperation from others.
There is a disconnect between how the university sees itself and what it is. Too much time is spent on visioning exercises, reading books on leadership, and finding ways to align with the latest business buzzwords as a substitute for doing the hard work to determine what they are and what it will take to get where they want to go.
