Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

What I liked the most are the ordinary people, the students who come to the internship - they are so open, kind and warm. You can learn a ton from them and thank them for that.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

- You exagerate about your external image
- There are no opportunities for experienced employees
- You allow managers behave badly with they employees and even if you speak loudly about non-discrimination you are doing it big time.
- Try to teach your managers that it's important to be a leader first and management doesn't mean control, falsehood , discrimination and lying.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Begin to apply what you preach as an external image. Otherwise they are just beautiful words.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Overall, it is a young and ambitious team . The working atmosphere depends a lot on the manager and how they handle their own team.
For me bad management was a decisive point in leaving the company.

Kommunikation

Communication is not missing, it is in abundance. The problem is the transparency of communication and the fact that what is communicated is very different from reality.

If we exclude the most of the the team leads, with your colleagues you'll feel comfortable and in good hands. Colleagues always support each other and always have patience.

You are told that you have all the balance between personal life and work but work is not balanced accordingly.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

In the light of my experience, I have seen how managers discriminates, treats employees according to their own interest and according to their own pleasure.Also, when a manager makes a mistake should apologize.We are humans first of all.

Interessante Aufgaben

I could say that my job was not boring. Unfortunately, when the manager changed, the new one did not know and did not bother to discover the employee's inclinations.

Gleichberechtigung

If you are an outsider you will never be seen as an equal, you will be reminded where you come from. Many times I was reminded that I was still there because I work hard and that I could be fired any time.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Most of my colleagues were exceptional, willing to teach you everything they know.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Decent working conditions, but sometimes the space is too small. Also, in the pandemic during working from home we were "recommended" without saying no to work non-stop video, which I find stupid. If you see me non-stop at the camera when the internet speed slows down, it doesn't mean that you control what I do behind the screen. A dedicated employee can do his job anywhere.

Compared to the market, salaries are low although the company sells itself as an important company.

The image and the vision are great. Help people finding a job. But it would be good if the image would be reflected inside the company and you would take into account the happiness of the employee in order to present a clean image.

Regarding our external image we try to be as transparent as possible. We also share our internal happiness feedback and company wide feedback openly. The happiness score is our most important people metric and shared in every all hands meeting.

We do yearly salary benchmarks with other Berlin based tech-companies and adapt our salary ranges accordingly. Further, we try to create a career path for all employees, either as an individual contributor or people manager.
