Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Our company is employee centered which is quite appealing to many of us: There are lots of opportunities for employees to not only work conveniently but also feel good at work, e.g. there is a gym, lots of employee events and everyone at our company can speak up to influence our working environment.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Our office building is quite nice, but I would say the decoration of our building is the biggest disadvantage of our company which is shown to the public: From an external's perspective you would not guess that it's really a nice working environment we are enjoying at InnoGames - the building looks more like an office building from the German authorities instead of a workplace which is appealing and attractive to join. As soon as external people enter our building they are surprised by our great workplace and from my perspective this aspect can be improved a lot!

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The environment at work is incomparable: At InnoGames there is a very colorful, friendly, open-minded working culture and office environment, which feels way more convenient (at least for me) than a typical white-collar business setting. Based on my experiences in the whole gaming industry, the industry and all of the gaming companies try to deliver a working atmosphere to all of the employees which is fun and makes it more likely to enjoy work than it does for example in a typical web development business.

Open information sharing is our core value - and the company lives it: Studio meetings, company knowledge data-base, open-review sessions, open business-data etc.

Strong collaboration is encouraged by lots of different knowledge sharing opportunities - not only direct communication between all of our team members

Flexible working hours + team based coordination = works pretty good

Vorgesetztenverhalten

We have already tried to influence our way of leading our teams by setting up leadership principles based on our company values, nevertheless I would say that there is still some room for improvement. But from my perspective we are on the right track!

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There is still a lot of room for improvement to be more sustainable regarding environmental aspects, nevertheless the company is already aware of this issues and tries to influence our environmental footprint in a positive way.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

In addition to lots of social benefits, InnoGames offers a quite competitive salary which is also put in relation to our very detailed career model.

The image of our industry is ok - but can be improved even more. Our company struggles a bit with the overall image of the industry, nevertheless I would say that InnoGames is globally known for its high-quality Strategy games, our international team and our great company culture. This very competitive position is not too obvious in the local market, thus I would see some further potential to increase our company image even further.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Our detailed career model (for most of our professional roles) in combination with our approach of centrally organized appraisals (between employess & supervisors) are a nice orientation for our employees to develop their career in the short-, mid- & long-term perspective.
