Time for creating the projects sometimes is really tight. From my point of view, for working not in stressfull conditions, it should be extended.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The atmosphere at work is often even more important than the salary. I work in K16 Gdansk couple of years. And I fell like home here. The atmosphere is really friendly, starting from having your own slippers or taking your doggie with yourself ;)
Kommunikation
Crucial in K16 is teamwork. If we want to create a good project, we have to work and stick together. We sit in separate rooms on different floors, so exchanging information sometimes might be difficult. But this problem is solved by your own account on Skype for Business, your own business e-mail or internal phone. Thanks to those tools we also stay in touch with our kolleges from other locations: Hamburg, Frankfurt a.M., Munich and Berlin. Additionally, there is an inside Intranet, where some infos regarding "what's-happening-now" are posted. The only disadvantage is that it's mostly in German, so people who are not common with this language, can't fully use it.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
For me, people at work are the most important. If you feel good at work, it makes you want/like to come to work – so simple :) Everybody are treated with respect and empathy. Beginnings are the hardest, but quickly you realise, that here is no "rat race". We are team, people that help each other. During all those years working in K16 Gdansk, some ordinary relations became a truly friendly, close relations.
Work-Life-Balance
Sometimes there is need to work after normal working hours until the project is finished, although rather rarely. Additionally, working the whole week on evening shift + Saturday – but once in 5 weeks. This is a good occasion for those who doesn't like to get up early ;)
Vorgesetztenverhalten
All the Superiors have friendly attitude, you don't have a feeling to be patronized. Also willing to help you with your problems.
Interessante Aufgaben
Main tool on which you work in K16 Gdansk is PowerPoint. Many people from design environment would laugh and say that this is a joke. But here you can learn the new way of using and creating projects in this program. Naturally, also you have oppotrunity to work on Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. There are varied types of projects, from simple ones to more sophisticated and creative. You will have a chance get to know, which are your favourite ones and in which you are good at.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Age is not an obstacle – anybody who is determined, hard-working and friendly can join the team. It is the matter of personality and efficiency.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Working in an old, cozy villa, 3 minutes far from Gdansk Oliwa railway station, as well as 3 minutes from tram or bus stations. 3 condignations, 2 monitors for everybody, comfy chairs, kitchen, table football, 3 bathrooms.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The terms of salary are determined individually. During the personal talk all conditions are explained, you have also a chance to negociate. It is strictly related to your efficiency and engagement. Extra-bonus for good, hard work available.

We try very hard and we do our best to gain the best results and prepare perfect projects for the Customers. Sometimes it costs a lot of energy, commitment and creativity. Unfortunately, promotion of the company and in K16 Gdansk (Danzig) practically doesn't exist. Sad, but true, I wish we could share our great work with the world.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
When I was starting working in K16 Gdansk, I didn't know anything about design. All I know, I've learned here, in K16. Since that time, I have a feeling that I really improved my skills, but there still is the field to upgrade. Internal training is provided, for external training you need to take care yourself. Possibility to attend German lessons during the work.
