Worst Recruiting Process Ever

Sent in application, no confirmation mail was sent back (even not an automated/generic email). After 1 week follow up email by me. Few days later I eventually received the first "life signal" from the VP HR, stating that my application has been received and they will get back to me if my profile fits to the vacancy. Obviously it did not since I never heard back from them after months - no rejection email or any other reply.
As an HR leader with several years of experience I just have to say this was one of the worst experiences I've ever made in a recruiting process. I do not feel that my personal data was really professionally treated there as well as myself as an applicant. If they are looking for an HR Manager because they are aware of their bad recruiting process they should at least focus on hiring someone to fix this.
