Hiring (logic tests are BS and have nothing to do with the work people need to do, being hired at Senior level is easy, being promoted not). Overhaul Promotion process, being more open for feedback

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Work is done in teams. Teams consist of individuals which are mostly great persons, therefore you normally feel good at work

Kommunikation

Communication is chaotic, Employees get informed about things the press has known for weeks as if they can't read the news

Work-Life-Balance

Trust working hours, Home Office, fairly good in that regard

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Middle and higher management are feedback-proof, will defend anything and everything no matter how flawed it is. Unwilling to "Challenge the Status quo" or be challenged, which is funny as it is one of the stated core values of Klarna. Team leads take over a team and decide to put a person who was deemed eligible for a promotion by the previous team lead into a performance improvement program after a few weeks, deciding against it and going back on their opinion 2 weeks later, proving they're prone to taking hasty and uninformed decisions.

Diversity works as long as no one has a differing opinion.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

No regard for employees with a long tenure, you get constantly told you're not good enough as people with far less experience/knowledge than you get hired into a position higher than you.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

First considerable raise after 7 years, only small-time increases before. You get constantly told how good you earn for your current level.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There's no career to be had here. There's the "irregular career path" which is a not cleverly covered lie. Step sideways on the career ladder so Klarna doesn't have to give you a raise, changing teams is punished by resetting your career progress. No one will just give you a chance to proof yourself, you have to proof yourself without being given the opportunity to do so. People who don't know you and are basically incompetent decide your promotion or lack of, showing that they don't understand your contribution to the company
