Limehome always strives to build team unity and acceptance through wonderful events and Expert Talks/Knowledge Sharing events. They encourage diversity and a healthy work-life balance. I love going into the office, seeing all the friendly faces of my colleagues, and using the various office spaces to do my best work. Limehome also knows how to throw a fantastic team event that is fun, festive and builds company spirit.
One of the best things about Limehome is the way they encourage each and every employee to “Shoot for the Stars”. This is actively worked out in the different ways they support us in further learning, knowledge share events, and even supporting Internationals with learning German. I feel that I have been given every opportunity by limehome to reach my full potential. I recently also wanted to consider a horizontal shift in job position within the company and Limehome gladly facilitated me testing the waters of new responsibilities.

The office is beautiful and most of the people are very nice but it is expected to work over time. Depending on your superior they will probably also have a close look at what you do with your time ;-)
Not as reputable as other startups, but could be worse
Okay, great events from time to time and you are also more or less flexible in your working hours but as said above be prepared to work (unpaid) overtime
The idea behind the evaluation system is well-founded but the actual promotions are very subjective
Salary can not compete with other companies, especially within Munich

We are sorry to hear about the rest, especially that you apparently aren’t/ weren’t happy in your department. Please let me go into some of the points in a bit more detail
Career/development: I assume you are talking about our performance cycles. As you might know, we use the tool culture amp. This is the opposite of subjective feedback: You get peer feedback from up to 5 limehomies and additional feedback from your lead. All this will be taken into account at the moment of promoting somebody. We would appreciate it a lot if you could reach out to us to explain this more in detail.
Work-life balance: I want to be very clear here as it’s definitely not expected to do overtime at limehome. We have a hybrid working model, meaning every limehomie has the flexibility to start earlier and also leave earlier and the other way around. This might lead to the perception that people are working longer, even though they just might have started later. In addition, we offer our limehomies a lot of freedom in terms of self-organization and prioritization, meaning they learn how to prioritize accordingly to prevent over-hours.
Colleagues: Maybe this is your own perception, but that’s definitely not an overall opinion, taking into account the results from our engagement survey, other Kununu ratings and the general atmosphere in the office. It makes us honestly very sad that you have this perception.
Image: Within our branch we have a very good reputation as you could see in several articles. We are aware that we might not be as known as certain scale-ups here in Munich, but that’s also due to our growth plans, as we want to grow healthily to prevent layoffs etc.

Bezüglich des Workloads können wir Dich nur bitten, proaktiv auf Deinen/Deine Manager*in zuzugehen und komme zusätzlich auch gerne direkt auf uns zu. Dein/Deine Manager*in und wir unterstützen Dich gerne, würden Dich aber bitten, Deinen Input direkt und konkret mit uns zu teilen, damit wir hier gemeinsam zielgerichtete Initiativen ableiten können!
Zum Thema Gehalt: Wir wissen natürlich, dass dies ein super komplexes und zudem sehr subjektives Thema ist - deshalb respektieren und verstehen wir natürlich auch Deine Wahrnehmung, dass wir als Münchner Unternehmen vergleichsweise wenig zahlen.
Dennoch würden wir gerne auch unsere Perspektive und Gedanken dazu mit Dir teilen:
Natürlich ist Gehalt immer auch eine Frage des Kontextes und des Vergleichs. Gehälter und Gehaltsbenchmarks variieren von Unternehmen zu Unternehmen und innerhalb verschiedener Branchen. Es gibt Unternehmen und wird wohl auch immer welche geben, die höhere Gehälter zahlen als limehome - ebenso wie es Unternehmen gibt, die niedrigere Gehälter haben. Viele verschiedene Faktoren, wie z.B. die Branche, in der das Unternehmen tätig ist, die Größe oder das Alter des Unternehmens spielen hier eine entscheidende Rolle.
Wir geben Dir also gerne Recht, dass limehome mit den Gehältern einiger Unternehmen in München vielleicht nicht mithalten kann - aber das ist auch nicht unser Ziel.
Für uns hat es oberste Priorität, faire und gute Gehälter zu zahlen und Performance auch monetär angemessen zu honorieren. Deshalb schauen wir uns regelmäßig unsere Gehaltsbenchmarks an und berücksichtigen die vielen Faktoren, die hier eine Rolle spielen, um eine faire und marktgerechte Bezahlung unserer limehomies zu gewährleisten.
Darüber hinaus leben und lieben wir unsere Performance Culture - auch hier stellen wir in unseren Performance Cycles, dass wir starke Performance identifizieren und diese dann auch entsprechend gehaltlich honorieren.
Wie geschrieben, ist das Thema sehr komplex, allerdings hoffen wir, dass wir Dir damit trotzdem eine weitere Perspektive auf dieses Thema geben können.
