The company atmosphere was really relaxed, conversation was easy and people were not stressed.

The hiring process however has been anything but positive.

I interviewed for Magmell and after I received an email confirming I was welcome to join, we started discussing contract details.

I was invited one more time to meet the team, iron out contract details and sign it on a certain day. I confirmed and we set a time. Until this point there was no signs of problems.

I set a meeting with my then employer one day before said date with Magmell, and gave them my leave notice.
On signing day, Magmell informed me they decided to not go through with the hiring process because of reasons I am not allowed to mention here :)

To a large extent this was my fault, because I gave my then employer notice before having a signed contract from Magmell. But Magmell could have definitely done things better. Inviting me to "meet the team" to tell me I was rejected after I was accepted just felt immature.

Really unprofessional and not trust worthy.
