Well......I have never experienced something like this. Phone interview was designed with 2 Persons. But one of them didn't let the second person even to open her mouth. From the very beginning I experienced interference on the line ( I assume she was walking along the corridor while starting the conversation with me) . For me it was obvious at once that nothing good comes out of it as she was sooooo arrogant! I barely had a chance to speak. Who are u? where are u from? Where it is? ( geographical stupidity?? ). How it comes that such person is in charge of smth.?
For the second recruiting person and me it was better to hold the conversation in English, as we are both not native german speakers and the application was in English either, but nevertheless Ms. Dontknowenglish started the interview in German. Japanese, open your eyes, she made even multiple mistakes writing me!!!!!
My overall conclusion: Pfffffffffffffffffffffff.............................

Thank you very much for your open feedback, which we see as an opportunity to critically questioning ourselves. We regret that the pre-interview call obviously did not meet your expectations and that this negative impression arose for you.

During the recruiting process it regularly happens, that there remain open questions which we cannot answer ad hoc based on the application. Due to that, Misumi conducts pre-interviews by telephone to decide whether we want to continue the application process or not.

To ensure that our candidates are as well able to adjust the goal of these pre-interview calls, we proceed very transparently. This means, at the beginning we explain the background and that this is not a fully interview, but rather a first contact to clarify open questions.

For Misumi Europa it is extremely important to meet on an equal footing to get a better picture of each other. During our interviews we always give the candidates the opportunity to bring in their own contribution and place their questions, too.

Misumi currently employs 33 different nationalities. Due to our internationality, our company language is English. As a European subsidiary, our employees routinely conduct regular interviews in English. Furthermore, we have great confidence in all our colleagues that they conduct the interview in a respectful and reciprocal manner, in accordance with our recruitment policy described above.
