Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

I feel like there's always the will to improve and that the goal is to provide a great workplace for everyone.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

A lot of employee fluctuation, which also comes from the fact that there are so many people coming and leaving Berlin all the time.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Improve communication and show employees that they are appreciated (not just by goodies&benefits; you can't buy peoples affection).
Give people in higher positions management/leadership workshops. The best performers are not always the best managers.
Listen to honest feedback and work on that.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The general atmosphere is great and supportive.
You can always enjoy a nice chat with a colleague and easily find someone to have lunch with.
Also new people get a warm welcome by their departments and the whole company (there's even a BBQ/pizza event in the beginning of each month to welcome the new starters)

Kommunikation

There unfortunately is a lack of communication that needs to be worked on.
Most problems result from exactly this and could easily be avoided.
A monthly all-hands and companywide emails about important events should be the bare minimum.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

That's easily the #1 best aspect of Movinga.
Most employees are actually great and interesting people and it's always a delight to enjoy some Friday beers together on the rooftop terrace. Barely any ***holes around here.

Work-Life-Balance

Couldn't ever really complain about the work-life-balance.
If there really is the need to work overtime you can compensate it as soon as you want to. Also i had never had issues with spontaneously taking my vacation days.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Of course this really depends on the department.
Never had any issues myself.

Interessante Aufgaben

Of course this also really depends on the department but for me it never really gets boring as i feel i have the freedom to plan my day and tasks on my own.
The environment and tasks are always changing and the longer you're here the more responsibilities and freedom you get.

Gleichberechtigung

There has been a huge discussion on this the last few weeks but in my opinion "equality" is not the issue at hand but rather people demanding a special treatment.
The company tries to treat everyone (also meaning all departments) in the same way possible and give the same chances but apparently that's not what some people understand under "equality".

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

There's barely any "older" people around, maximum age is probably about 40-something.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Computers and workspace in general is modern and can't be complained about.
A lot of measures are being taken to provide good working conditions (for optimal lighting, temperature, noise etc.) so that people can focus on their work.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Still more of a goal than a current good state.
But it's being worked on and will hopefully improve in the next few months.
There's already bio-fruits, green electricity and other things but the general awareness of employees still needs to be raised.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Salary is definitely fine. There's usually no problem with asking for a raise if you've been around for long enough and have proven yourself a valuable employee.

Image

Image (especially to the outside) needs to be improved but that's also still a consequence from the scandal of 2016.
The company has changed completely since then and it can't really be compared anymore.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There's a career path in some departments but also besides that the company doesn't stand in the way if you want to improve yourself. You can apply for "educational vacation" and the company might even take over the costs if it's not incredibly expensive.
