Arbeitsatmosphäre

The working atmosphere at Netlight itself is great but you have to realize that the working atmosphere you will be exposed to (where you will spend 40hrs per week) depends on your project.

Kommunikation

KPIs are shared with employees as well as the vision, employees are invited to take part in shaping the future of Netlight - those are the pluses. The minuses go for the communication style which is often 'brainwashy' and overly idealistic, with a lack of acknowledgment of weaknesses of the company.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Netlight tries to hire people also based on personality, not just technical skills. This ensures that some really nice people end up working here! In addition, the culture at Netlight promotes values such as: teamwork, knowledge sharing and supporting each other.

Work-Life-Balance

For me personally, this is one of the downsides of working at Netlight. At times, it is challenging to achieve a good work life balance, if you want to partake in internal activities. Because a 100% billabillity is assumed, everything else is extra on top. The good thing is: you can manage this. The bad thing is: it will impact your experience and pace of development at Neltlight. Of course it is nicer if you can be fully immersed and network with others, there are some awesome initiatives at Netlight, but it is all at your work-life balance expense. Guess the goal is not to experience this as working hours. The issue however becomes once you level up and get more internal responsibilities but you still need to deliver 40hrs at the client. To the best of my knowledge, Netlight currently does not have a solution to this.

2 stars removal goes for 'inofficial' ageism. Afaik, mostly university graduates and young professionals get hired.
