Arbeitsatmosphäre
The atmosphere within the team is great and the colleagues and supervisors are really funny. Even the leadership team from Finnland is more available and funny than in every other company I worked so far. Most of the time it's the same in projects with the customers.
Kommunikation
There's a weekly newsletter from the leadership team, a monthly internal info call about current topics and also within the German team the communication is quite good. With Slack as major communication tool we're connected with the whole group. If you want to find help you can find help, if you want to have a good laugh you can also find this.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
As mentioned already above it's very good. If you need any help in the projects, you can find for sure someone who's helping you. Outside of projects there are plenty of team events like hiking, bowling, eating, drinking...
Work-Life-Balance
As usual in most of the consultancy companies, it heavily depends on the projects. Some of them are pure remote work (most of them in the meantime), some of them need some travel time. Sometimes it gets stressful if a tight planned project comes to an end. But most of the time you can plan with your time as it's the best for you.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
There could be a bit more attention to the people, but all in all the supervisors and management people are always available to you. You just have to talk with them and tell them what you need. They are not always that close to you, that they will see if something's wrong.
Interessante Aufgaben
Oh yes - it's public cloud only, and topics like cloud governance, big data, container environments, migration projects, serverless app development, and so on. Automation is the key in most of the projects!
Gleichberechtigung
At Nordcloud are plenty of different nations (20? 30? Plenty!) and so far I didn't saw a single problem with any of them. But you'll definitely learn a lot about all the cultures (and what they eat). As often in the IT business, there are slightly more men than women. The few women who are there, are gonna be treated like everyone else in the company (at least from my point of few. They might tell you something completely different!)
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
To be honest, I really don't know... so far, there are no old/elderly colleagues (or I don't met them, because they get handled so unbelievable bad...). But I'd assume, that Nordcloud would handle elderly persons very nice and respectful ;)
Arbeitsbedingungen
Choose any laptop with any operating system. Choose any mobile phone with any phone provider. Work at home, in the office, at the customer or on your balcony. Work in the night or within the day. Come to the next team event or stay at home. All the tools at Nordcloud are good and also very often up to you (google docs or word, gmail or outlook, atom or vi, ...). The working conditions are completely up to yourself. The office in Munich is good, not great. But you can work from anywhere else if you're not happy with the office.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
That's one thing where I thought the Finns are better. T-shirts and pullovers have not the best quality (in my opinion).
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
I really can't complain about anything. I earn more than most of my friends (probably because they don't work in the cloud business). Phone bills gets paid, we get a bahn card 50 and at the moment we're talking about additional health services.

So far, I only heard good things about Nordcloud. That was one of the reasons I joined them. Seeing the incoming projects and project requests at the moment, the outside image can't be that wrong. The internal view... quite good I'd say? Because it's a public cloud only consultancy, there's very much know-how in that area. People seem to be honest and hard-working. Of course, there are always colleagues who work or know more or less than others.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Is the training/certificate related to the work at Nordcloud? Do it! The trainings are held inhouse, e.g. in Finnland, or if they are not internally available, they get paid of course. You get a bonus if you get a certificate. And you can go to events like the AWS/Azure/Google summits, KubeCon, Jeffcon... Making career is of course again heavily depending on you and your skills. For example, you can get a tech champion for a particular area (like Kubernetes or AWS/Azure/Google services or topics). Of course it's easier to make career in the headquarter in Finnland, but it's also possible if you work in any other country of Nordcloud.
