Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Devices and training for every employee.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Information management, no clear processes, travel management and cost reimbursement.
Upper management treats employees from above, no real communication. Company decisions made by upper management are perceived as rather egoistic and not benefitting the company nor the business.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Start investing in your employees and treat them as people with intelligence rather than a resource which can be stuffed anywhere.

Start talking to employees and offer full transparency of decisions instead of dodging critical questions. If you talk, do the walk.

Stop spending money on external consultants who are overpaid and tell employees that there is no room for salary raises.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

There is good cohesion within the teams that I know. Supervisors at the middle management level make an effort to keep their teams motivated.

The company is currently splitting into two companies. New hires for some areas only start in the new company. There are no processes in the new company and this new "speedboat" with lean processes is already failing because these processes cannot be implemented.

Kommunikation

There is no reason for this second company and upper management doesn't bother to explain anything either. There is little to no trust in management decisions across the board.

"Communication offensives," as they are called, do not take place and town halls are devoid of content and only adorned with agendas. But nothing happens.

There is no response to critical questions in townhall meetings.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Employees and colleagues stick together, despite the lack of communication from management.

Within the department, there is an attempt to work on a professional level, but the management's decisions to break up and rebuild all structures and teams are "disruptive".

Work-Life-Balance

The worker's council protects the rights of all employees. Any overtime can be converted into free time. This only applies to the IT company (Fashion Digital).

Vorgesetztenverhalten

My supervisor is there for me in every area and answers all questions. Working is made possible and I have never had such a good supervisor. But even my supervisor cannot answer all questions in regards to the future of the company or the vision.

Interessante Aufgaben

Since the company is currently splitting into two companies, the projects will be distributed between them. Or not - we do not know as management is not communicating anything.
There is neither clarity nor a clear line as to which departments in which company will take on which tasks.

Partly there are from now on several departments working on the same products / tools.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Laptops and Displays are top notch. Everything is fine. People are not forced to come to the office and we have a newly implemented desk sharing application.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Salary is a complicated thing. The management just realised in 2022 that investing in long term employees is important. If you did not negotiate your salary, you will not get much of a raise in the future.

Fashion Digital itself does not have any outside image apart from being the IT company of Peek & Cloppenburg.
