There are plenty of opportunities for further training, but you have to make the effort yourself. As the company continues to grow, there are numerous opportunities for advancement.
hardly any older colleagues
mostly very good, but there are also exceptions if you have bad luck with your manager
generally very open communication. top level management tries to create transparency, but sometimes there is a lack of explanations for decisions
Some teams have on call schedule but it is not really mandatory
New top management creates a culture of fear, seriously sociopathic behaviors and firing mentality like in the united states. Feedback does not get taken well, bullying and overpowering other leaders and we hear about this at our level too. Bad decision for the future, although my direct manager is a good manager, I hear how this affects them. I will not work for people like that and will leave to find a new job, my colleagues agree
Kaufland is diverse company having many people from many different countries with many different mindsets and styles..
No time to innovate or learn new skills, instead only deliver $, I can learn more at web agency
Kein Deadlines, keine Blick auf was kommt, kein Strategie. Was gut, Mann darf nicht spät antworten trotz viele schreibt nach 00:00
Nette Kollegen aber sehr viel Top Down und schlechtes Mittel Management.
Sehr schlimm, sehr viele Projekte haben fast keine normalen Kommunikationen Rhythmus
Get rid of shady management practices and be more transparent about what is needed for promotions and pay hikes.
This depends on the Team, and the variation between different teams is too strong in contrast. However I would say from what I know about other teams from other colleagues, right now all teams are mostly having the same problems.
The image I had of them when I joined was positive but I guess that was because of the real digital times. The new setup brings with it cold-hearted corporate leadership with work practices that are like American MNCs, but the pay is not like them.
If one is having difficulty relaxing and going to sleep in one's personal time, one knows it's time to find a new employer. And if the economic situation wasn't this bad with respect to jobs, I would waste no time.
Depends on the team. The budget is apparently "infinite" to up-skill oneself but in practice that is not the reality even if it is relevant to the company.
Everyone knows they don't pay well. Moreover, Promotions are denied for unclear or made-up reasons so the management don't have to pay employees what they deserve.
If you don't expect an e-commerce company to be socially conscious, you are only being realistic
The work environment is stressful and this in turn causes people within the team to be insecure and competitive in an unhealthy and toxic manner. Lots of politics! There is no attention paid to company culture at all!
Colleagues who are in the company longer create unwelcome environment for new people, to the extent of hiding essential information, giving bad/incorrect advice and negative performance reviews. Management gives no chance to offer explanations or redeem oneself. There is no transparency on this process. If you complain or question the leadership you can be shown the door, I have seen it happen to some colleagues.
No one knows what the management wants, the more you accomplish the farther away the goal post becomes
This can vary across different teams. Sometimes you can have interesting tasks at other times, mind numbingly boring or unclear. You cannot complain.
The people in management and leadership positions are the most non-transparent people but demand complete transparency from team members. If anything remains less than clear its your own fault and no cross-examination is done.
Could be better, but not super bad
You know is time to leave when colleagues praise the employer for merely meeting basic expectations. The huge amount of negative reviews is signalling an underlying issues, particularly with management. When toxic behaviour is tolerated at the leadership level, it becomes normalised throughout management. Challenges to this dynamic have been met with consequences, with decisions being imposed on people without consideration for their input, affecting the overall workplace atmosphere.
Encourage a more inclusive work environment by embracing diverse perspectives and ideas. I know you say you do, but when it comes to facts they're not existing.
It's important to recognise that different generations bring valuable insights.
The overall atmosphere tends to be more positive when colleagues share common sad/ traumatic experiences.
Otherwise, everything is either politically charged, lacking excitement, or emotionally draining.
Strong boundaries are needed if you want to have work-life balance.
It depends from team to team.
The process for offering constructive feedback and addressing concerns needs to be improved.
Communication could be improved, especially regarding management decisions. I believe increased transparency from leadership would create a more trusting and collaborative environment.
Flexible Arbeitszeiten
Sehr schlecht. Man verdient in anderen normalen Callcentern mehr.
Sehr schwierig.
- Durchschnittlich
- Gehalt wird immer pünktlich überwiesen
Focus on training and hiring good leaders, so that they know how to act on the company's problems, know how to recognize and benefit those who actually perform well and try to get rid of those who perform poorly. My current perception is that it doesn't make much difference to act as an owner or just sit back and eat popcorn.
KEC has some good and competent people. I think there is potential to be a great employer, but it lacks a good leadership to do it.
This totally depends on the area in which you are allocated and who your direct leader is. If you are lucky, you may have a leader who is motivating and is by your side. I've had a leader who made my life very difficult, was toxic and harassed me morally. I've had moments of ecstasy and celebration and moments when you just want to resign due to lack of recognition and the harassment you faced. I've had experiences where mistakes were well managed and moments where I was punished for mistakes that weren't even mine.
Neither good nor bad. I consider KEC an ok employer to have on your CV.
I had trouble sleeping and anxiety. There is considerable pressure in some areas and, as some colleagues are not doing their jobs competently, you end up overloading yourself.
There is educational incentive, like language courses, internal training and conferences. It's possible to get promoted quickly, but that doesn't mean you're good at what you do. The career path is not clear. Every year new functions are invented and no one knows why or what their responsibilities are. For some colleagues, some steps are skipped, for others, more steps must be taken to get to the same level. Who knows?
Everyone is aware that the company compensation is low. The leadership has already said in All Hands meetings that the market pays absurd values.
This topic is very complicated, because you will work with the most incredible and talented people you have ever met at the same time that you will work with people with a very low level of competence. They will benefit in the same way. So it doesn't really matter if you're performing well or not, everyone ends up getting more or less the same recognition.
I never had any problems.
This, for me, is one of the company's biggest weaknesses. I've had several managers in my career. At KEC I had one of the worst. Leaders cannot differentiate between low-performing and high-performing employees and when they do, they do not act accordingly. We end up with a lot of people who do not execute the role for which they are responsible for and the punishment is not having a salary increase, which for many is not such a big deal. If you are unlucky, you may have a leader who practices moral harassment.
Decent equipment is provided. The offices are well equipped and cool. The technical support is super fast and competent.
The company's strategy is generally well communicated. We know where we are going and what our goals are. I just didn't give it top marks because there are a lot of people with bad memories and never remember what was communicated, leading to an excess of meetings.
This is tricky. The company says it has a wide range of countries and diversity, but in high positions people have the same characteristics.
It depends on your area.
So verdient kununu Geld.
