Verbesserungsvorschläge

Although I'm happy in the company, I think there are times that people take advantage of the autonomy that we're given. I'm not saying that I want people telling us what to do all the time, but a closer eye could be kept on making sure that our company values are actually being carried out.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The company:
The relaxed yet dynamic atmosphere is an interesting mixture for me. I enjoy coming to work everyday and always leave with a positive feeling. I haven't been at the company for very long but compared to my previous workplaces, I feel like I am treated with respect here. Even though I'm part of just one team, I find that it's been easy to connect with people in other teams, too.

My team:
The team feels like a good fit for me. My team colleagues are always ready to help and give feedback when I need it. Even if they have a lot of their own work to do, they all always take the time to answer my questions. It's very collaborative and we're always exchanging ideas.

Kommunikation

The company:
If I have questions outside of my team, such as HR or bookkeeping questions, they get addressed very quickly. If the person I've asked is unable to help me, they find the person who can.

My team:
If there are issues that are not work-related, or if I'm uncertain about my tasks, I can ask almost anyone and they are able to point me in the right direction. I don't feel like I can't ask or that I've asked too much.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The company:
I have the impression that we all mostly enjoy working together. I'm sure that there are people who might not get along but you don't really see that on a day-to-day basis. The kitchenette and lunch room is a great place to chat with people outside of your team.
There are many activities on offer that you can take part in outside of your work duties such as movie nights or yoga.

My team:
I think my team genuinely all enjoys working together. The average age of the team is the lowest in the company, I think, and I would describe the relationship between members as professional but not stiff.

Other:
I took off one star here because I feel that there are some colleagues who take advantage of our office and "housekeeping" team. The kitchen is sometimes left in such a state and the expectation from some is that someone else will clean up after them. I hope that this changes.

Work-Life-Balance

As a parent, it has been wonderful to be able to plan my day so that I can not only deliver my work but also can take care of my child. My team and the company has been very supportive of my needs for flexibility and that only makes me more motivated to do well.

We don't have managers so I can't really comment on this.

Interessante Aufgaben

I've been able to learn so many new things since joining the company. I may have a lot of experience in my field but I've been able to apply my skills in so many different in new ways.

I feel like I've been treated fairly, without prejudice. My gender, ethnicity and social status don't play a role in how I'm treated.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

As the oldest person on my team, I never have been made to feel like I'm old or that I don't belong. Not just on my team, but company-wide. I feel like my age isn't a factor at all in how I'm treated.

I always have access to all the things I need in order to do my job, be it equipment, food or transport costs.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

We're not 100% there yet, but it's important to us as a company and it's something that we're actively trying to improve on.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

I think I'm a person that generally is always happy with what I have. I believe that I'm being paid fairly for the job that I'm doing. The company benefits far outweigh my need for more money.

I think the image projected and the reality is quite similar. As the company grows, this might be something that will be more difficult to maintain because with more employees the more potential there is for the core values to change.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

I've been given the opportunity to take part in many job-relevant trainings/workshops since joining.

Career/Promotion opportunities:
Our company structure isn't really set up to promote from within so I can't really comment on that. What I do find good is that many of my colleagues were given the opportunity to change teams internally so that they could explore other career paths/duties.
