This company is not focused on creating a culture in which is satisfactory to the employees. They are very inflexible and unwilling to compensate the employees fairly or as deserved in most cases.
This is often not the case. We are expected to work in conditions that are unsafe to patients as well as ourselves and are left without a voice in rectifying the problems.
Overall, my experience has been that the employees often create a positive dynamic within interactions between one another. It isn't something that is necessarily encouraged by the organization.
In my department the nursing staff are given a lot more autonomy than I have experienced at other organizations in the past.
I find that communication is commonly informative of topics or information that aren't of significant relevance or concern amongst employees. Inclusive methods are not utilized and there are better options for points to be made.
Overall I feel indifferent about it. The majority of the healthcare staff are women to begin with.

There is extreme inflexibility and high expectations for the staff, and little to no concern for our personal circumstances. Ex., the most alarming change in employee benefits was the significant decrease in the amount of time off offered for maternity leave. Women are granted only 4 weeks of maternity leave for a vaginal birth and 6 weeks for a cesarean section, before they are expected to return back to work.
I would say that I am proud to work with the people in which I do.

I appreciate the tone in which sets a high standard of care to be delivered to our patients.
I believe that the voices of our employees are desperately in need of being heard. The organization should shift their focus on providing satisfaction amongst their staff, especially as it relates to proper compensation, staffing ratios and benefits.
