Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

*Good as a first job

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

*No room for growth
*Nobody wants to take responsibility
*Weak management

Verbesserungsvorschläge

*Get your product on a higher-quality level
*Learn how to take feedback from your employees (and actively seek it)
*Give honest feedback back to your employees
*Provide opportunities for growth and self-development
*Address frustrations and learn how to manage conflicts and not ignore them

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Weird and often frustrating working atmosphere, as the management doesn't know how to give feedback, as well as how to receive it properly. I felt like you can't be honest with the management and try to give your feedback, because it just gets ignored. I also found that they're not capable of giving constructive feedback themselves, as they're too afraid (?). So they delegate it to another person who then delegates it to another person... Nobody wants to be responsible for anything, especially when it comes to disagreeing with someone.

Kommunikation

There's often a miscommunication happening, or a misunderstanding, or whatever. It's as if playing the
"broken telephone" game.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

People are actually the biggest asset in the company. Personally, everybody is a wonderful human being.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

There were very uncool conflict situations and the management simply ignored them. It made me feel like I'm not valued there as an employee, and also not respected as a person. Conflict management is definitely a weak point at Styla.

Interessante Aufgaben

My job quickly got repetitive as there was no space provided/created for me to grow, experiment, and try new things.

Gleichberechtigung

A fact you can't argue with: women get paid way less than men here.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Everybody is pretty young at Styla, there's nobody older than 45 years old.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There are trash bins to recycle trash, but nobody uses them. People don't really seem to care to take care of the kitchen or any common space areas.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

As one of the users said in another review, there's an abnormal difference between salaries at Styla. If you're not pushy and a good negotiator, you won't be paid what you deserve.

Image

It looks like a nice company to work for (on the surface), but as you dig deeper, there's a lot of frustration and unhappiness. There are no real company values, the management isn't trustable at all, and the product they're selling is of questionable quality.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Styla is good for a first job, to get the initial experience and understanding of how things should get done (often, simply by observing of how they are, in fact, getting done over there and going in the opposite direction). I found it to be a very boxed environment career-wise: wasn't allowed to try the things I wanted to try, there was no room to grow at all.
