Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

- Free food and drinks in the office
- Great benefits (even though many are changing now - no more home office for many departments, no more flexible times - even though sometimes you have to start early and finish late with the time difference of US and EMEA offices)
- Certain people in some departments get to travel, not always the "stars" though.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

- For the current size of the company (getting even smaller day by day), the politics level is astonishingly high. Managers focus more on politics instead of the product or their teams. The management update meetings, which were supposed to be providing insight into the goals and analytics, have turned into a debate between them and their team members, about unsavoury topics.
- Higher management doesn't seem to have an idea or a plan of where they want to bring the company, and there is no long term planning.
- Too many management levels, with almost none left in the front line to get the job done.
- Underpaid and often overworked employees, are punished for being innovative, communicating and efficient, whilst low performers are being appraised and promoted. The work-life balance doesn't exist...
- Newer management didn't show any respect to the existing employees, their skills and time, never bothered speaking and understanding them.
- The only very few great people left will probably not last very long and they will either seek for new opportunities and leave, or the management will eventually "let them go".

Verbesserungsvorschläge

- Take a step back and bring your focus back on the product and your people. Without both of them your dream about IPO and Enterprise Sales will never come true.
- Bring in Sales effective people with high impact, in Marketing creative people and let the engineers and developers take care of the product.
- Managers should be spending more time communicating and understanding their teams, managing down as well as up. Know what talents each one has and use them to run the company.
- Put in place a transparent communication between teams, and though out the whole organization.
