The company views itself as a great place to work, but after a while, every perk or event seems very superficial. They do it to maintain their image to employees, and it seems very calculated. Nothing seems genuine, and they effectively *tell* you to vote them as a best place to work in Maine whenever that survey comes around.
This was the biggest knock for me. When I was hired 3-4 years ago, they touted how the company would stand behind their employees rather than the clients, and that couldn't be further from the truth. Management also doesn't care what you, the employee, want to do with your future - they simply put you on the path they deem appropriate, and if you ask about it, or point out that you have different skills and where they would be most effective - that's actually how I ended up getting let go. They don't like people with their own opinions. Maybe it's changed, but it was very structured and people were let go for being too ambitious or criticizing.
Teamwork in the company is fantastic. If another team needs to take over a client issue, it's very fluid. One of the best places I've ever worked regarding a team-oriented workflow.
You could do this, but it wouldn't be on the company's time. Mostly because they wouldn't allow you the time to do so. Depending on who made the call, they would allow you time to work independently on projects if you asked, but then essentially make it impossible to do so by asking you to work more by upping your expected output.
It depends on who you need to talk to. I was never really ever able to get a straight answer from anyone regarding company communications, but if it were client related, an answer would be quick.
They seemed more than fair in terms of wages, but with the industry that it is, it's probably 85-90% men.

They will pigeonhole you unless you go out of your way to advance your knowledge yourself. Unless you like the career path they want to put you on, you'll feel cornered into whatever you're doing.
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
I was paid a low, but acceptable amount - but my colleagues were not. I would consider salaries very much under competitive rates for the position that I had there.
It's very cramped, noisy, and no one seems to care if you take issue with that.
This also depends on the job held. Some employees work insane hours and overnights, some drive around all day, but in my case, I was entirely desk-bound, and the stress of the day coupled with a lack of internal support ruined my free time once I got home. I was always worried about my performance numbers and metrics.
They do have a great external image. I can't deny that at all, and the support for clients they provide is very good.
- They need a managerial overhaul. Not necessarily the personnel, but an approach to handling their own employees, and understanding that their favoritism is going to lose them a lot of great people and already has.
I liked the fact that everyone there works in a particular field. Either sales, support, marketing, of IT products, and having that common background was great for moral and team support. I'm still friends with a lot of people that I worked with there.
My biggest criticism is how they refuse to let you have your own opinion. I never heard a thank you, or a great job, but instead tiny, nitpicking critiques about the smallest mistakes. After demonstrating that I was effectively being wasted in my role, I was met with insults and shaming when I asked if there were open positions that I could apply for on other teams. Instead of actually listening to concerns of employees, they put band-aids over their problems by buying ice cream. Literally.
