It’s great if you know the right people or are related to them
Recently tanner clinic phased out my supervisor. I’m not even completely sure who my new supervisor is.
Some offices seem to have developed a great method of working as a team, but most offices have not. There’s a lot of “that isn’t my job” or “I shouldn’t have to do that” which hurts the moral & teamwork.
Constantly doing computer upgrades, but they don’t tell everyone when they’re doing it. So we’ll be working for several hours then find out nothing saved because we weren’t supposed to be using the computers. Very frustrating.
No consistent pay equality. I know some that were hired for my exact job position that started out at several more dollars than I did. When I approached admin (more than once) about being paid equally they say that they base their pay on some kind of scale & everyone is making what they should be compared to similar companies in the area. This is simply not true. In the past two months I know of at least 6 employees who left tanner for another company doing the exact same thing making $4-$5 more than they made at tanner Clinic.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Lots of people are very clicky & rude to other employees & sometimes patients. I’ve heard stories of some MAs hiding things from other staff in their office just to make that person look bad & give them a hard time. Very childish behavior. Some have even thrown away personal belongings simply because they do not like another employee.
Karriere / Weiterbildung
No room for growth whatsoever
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
I’ve been there 13 years & barely make over $13. The only raises I’ve ever received were cost of living.
Usually a very negative environment. Patients can be very rude & so can support staff.
Umwelt- / Sozialbewusstsein
Constantly watering the lawn even if it’s been raining all day or all week.
Since they got rid of the security guard, some nights staff doesn’t leave the clinic until 11:30 pm or later.
Somehow admin thinks tanner Clinic has great employee moral, when in reality they have a very high turn over rate & a lot of unsatisfied employees & patients.
- Value the employees who do their job well so they don’t leave for more money or better benefits. Stop expanding & hiring more doctors when you can’t even keep a steady & consistent support staff.
The only reason I’ve stayed at tanner clinic this long was because my old supervisor (who they phased out) was very supportive of me & willing to work around my school schedule.
Stop spending money on silly employee gifts & silly marketing toys. Employees would much rather be paid well for doing a good job than receive a lunch box at a bbq once a year.
