- Monthly department meetings would be helpful for my team. Assigning mentors to all new staff would assist new hires in integrating into the system. Supervisors could do little things to boost morale.
I feel like a valued employee who is trusted and respected. I have a fair amount of autonomy in my day-to-day work. Collaboration is encouraged in the workplace. Team members try to work together to provide the best education and services for our students. My superiors trust me and believe in the work that I am doing.
It would be helpful if there was a suggestion box that employees could access in order to give constructive feedback. Budget issues in the past several years have not allowed for any raises yet healthcare costs have risen. Some positions are not filled and it is my opinion the Human Resources could to more to hire for those positions.
