I applied for 2 positions 2020-2021. For one, I received a rejection within a decent time frame, for the other, I never heard back after a status info email that the process will take a bit longer. I decided to withdraw this application but it was no longer visible in the career portal. So I emailed to the one and only HR contact option I had through the status info email, but never received a response. As the career portal does not offer a "delete profile" function, I sent another email requesting the deletion of my profile and all personal data associated with my applications; no response. Three months after the application that had vanished from my career portal account, I received a rejection email for that position.
No idea what happens with applications, candidate experiences or personal data here. Of Tesla, I did expect more.
Addendum: This review - as is - was temporarily taken offline by the company. Applicants can only review their actual experience. If the company is not happy with its own recruitment process, it should improve it.
