There are great specialists and hard-working people at the company, which make it all work, despite poor organization, divisions and bad management.

Top management - be present, come to meetings, talk to people and actively manage teams/department/company. Stop using money as the only motivator for employees.

There are quite a lot of conflicts, most often caused by missing directions and absence of managers.
Kommunikation
Despite a small size of the department (ca. 15 people), communication the biggest weakness. For a year, not a single department's meeting.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The company is very much split, no sense of team-work.
Work-Life-Balance
Flexible working hours, no supervision, no tracking. Home office is a common practice (overused by managers). 30 days of holidays.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Managers are separated from the rest, they rarely appear in the company and even more seldom to meetings. There is no priority or goal setting, and avoid making decisions. Never seen such inapt managers in my career!
Interessante Aufgaben
The job content or projects can be interesting, and one has a lot of freedom to manage own tasks.
Gleichberechtigung
All young and ambitious women are leaving the company. Despite qualifications and good performance, they are not offered tasks or projects which they deserve. There is one woman in the company Board, which is not representative at all. Female manager was disrespected and overruled in her scope of responsibilities. I experience the gender inequality and distrust, women are not taken seriously, they are patronized or tolerated at most.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salaries are good, but the compensation and bonus system in not transparent, so no guarantee for gender equality.

Employees are continuously complaining about the company and its management.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
The criteria for promotion are not communicated. The positions are filled with acquaintances, 'old friends' or external workers, a lot is happening behind the scenes and on company's directors' whim. No official ways to progress and get promoted that you can rely on.
