Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Good: Flexibility concerning your working hours, low hierarchie, helpfull teammates (when you have a team)

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Bad: Very low payment and high workloads, no flex time model

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Overall i would suggest to increase the payments and the social activities - everything else is managable as long as you get a solid salary and some nice bonus. Without this Ventum is simply expecting to much and giving to little - especially if you already have years of working experience.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Depends heavily on the project you are assigned to. Be prepared to spent months running a project alone so you will have very limited contact to your fellow colleagues. Its possible you will develop a better relationship to your client than your colleagues simply cause you see the client more regularly.

Kommunikation

Happening mostly be email and company meetings every now and then.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Most of the time there is a good working relationship in the teams. Of course there are a few who are living the dream of being a consultant (egocentric and heavily based on being professional to put in nice words) but this is to be expected in a consultancy. Depending on the project you are assigned to, you might not see your colleagues for months in a row so dont expect a close relationship to your colleagues

Work-Life-Balance

Based again on the projects you are assigend to.
Of course you will be sold to different projects depending on your overall availabilty so be prepared to run different projects at the same time and to be sold for more than 100% of your time.
If you want to advance in the company it is expected to participate in internal workgroups so you will ALWAYS end up doing overtime - which is neither payed nor can be taken of in lieu

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The behaviour of the leadership is heavily based on the individual personalities and varies a lot so this is neither pro nor contra for the company cause this is the case in all companies out there.

Interessante Aufgaben

One of the slogans of the company is "You decide where you will go" - but this is not really the case. You are assigned to projects if you like them or not simply because the company will loose money if they wait till a projects comes along you would like - just like any other company out there. A really bad thing is in my opinion, that most of the time you are not even notified if you are placed on a proposal for a project - you will be informed once the project is won. If you plan to stay in the company and want to move forward - you have to accept whatever project comes along.

Next to this there arel lots of different projects and lots to learn in different areas. Depending on the project length - varying from a few months to years - you have to be willing to learn a lot in a short timeframe because you are expected to be the expert in each project (at least that how you are sold to the clients)

Unsure - i think nobody in the company is 45+

Arbeitsbedingungen

Same as before - heavily based on the project you are assigned to. Dont expect to spend a lot of time in the company office as you will sit at the clients site most of your time. The computers / cellphonse are ok.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

I could not see any special focus on this during my time with the company

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

This is the biggest downside of the company in my opinion. The payment is really really bad.
Unless you are coming straight from college and this is your first job or you are REALLY desperate keep on looking for something else. Especially when it comes to the workload you are expected to deliver they pay way to little. If you are able to join the company on a management-level it might be interesting again because you have more opportunites to participate simply because of the company size.
The bonus you will get also depends on your carrier level so it might be interesting again if you are on a higher level.

You got a budget you can use for training - of course after the confirmation from the management.
