Great Benefits but poor professional development

Good benefits: Bonus, equity, free water and filter coffee, snacks and fruits, colleagues, nice and comfortable office.
The Best part of Wayfair is the amazing people you will meet and collaboration between teams is excellent.
The atmosphere in Boston is much better than in Berlin.

At Wayfair is all about politics and how good you can play the game, it doesn't matter how good you are at your job if you cannot play politics..
One of Wayfair values is transparency but is the first company were I saw so many lies towards employees: they find a story and they make everyone believe it.
Company leadership: C-level management is quite poor as they are mostly ex consultants...so you can imagine there is a huge lack of people management, they quickly promote recent graduates to team leads positions and that usually leads to a lot of frustration between teams.
There is not much you will learn there since all tools are internal and pretty old, code is so old that developers don't stay and that just makes overall technology in the company quite poor; everyday tasks are all handled between G-docs and excel therefore you will not develop much further with other software or tools.
The Turnover is quite high and people just disappear from one day to another that makes the overall atmosphere pretty uncomfortable.

I would say get some external tools so people's life at work will improve, stop hiring consultants, improve communication and STOP changing people's jobs without asking them before.
