A company using mistruths and misselling
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
- Badly described job descriptions which are not what you are expected to do, may as well say "generic dogs body" for everyone
- Arrogance and neoptism are built into the company culture, if you are not playing into that, then you will be ignored
- Training is only given if you are in the cool group kissing up to your manager or team lead
- Promotion is not possible unless you are also kissing up to your manager
- Management abilities are very poor, much the same as randomly picking a stranger from the street, you could be lucky, but more likely that the person who is managing you is like a child in Kindergarten
- Extra hours and high pressure are expected, this could be avoided if there was some appreciation shown or if there was some structure rather than just constantly making unplanned things up
- Project management is very very poor. Seems that there is the focus on what your academic qualification is rather than if you have any experience or mental capacity
- Products are very poorly designed and the customers dislike them
- Colleagues are playing in the politics game and trying to hide that they don't have any idea what is happening so they then push it somewhere else
- Communication is extremely poor internally, thinking that everyone is in the same location and time zone, they could maybe be on a different planet.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
- Put some structure in place, and for a bank there really should be some processes followed
- Build a reliable customer base and actually care about giving them credit cards rather than just being desperate for the revenue
- Improve your backend systems, make sure that you implement a disaster recovery environment
- Get the foundations right instead of continually building on the poorly built infrastructure
- Stop focussing on getting press releases and start worrying about your staff.
