People are under a lot of pressure to perform well at their job and not make mistakes that they may not be too concerned with helping out as needed.

We do work independently within our assigned location and complete the work we're assigned to do.
Sometimes communication is really lacking among and with employees as a whole and in general. Some people know things and some don't, sometimes we have to ask other employees about certain work tasks to get the right direction because management doesn't communicate it to everyone all the time.

Preload and Reload don't really pay a good living wage for the amount of hours worked, if you want to make a living working part time at UPS you would need another job.
Office / Work Environment
We work in a warehouse, it's probably adequate for getting the job done. It's cold in the winter and warm in the summer.
They do recycle but not every employee actively knows about it or participates fully.
Depending on your shift and work schedule, the work-life balance can be adequate especially considering pay rates, hours worked and health care.
It's stable if I do my job correctly and accurately.
UPS is not really handicap accessible in all areas.
UPS is big on safety and safety procedures.
There are time constraints and the job gets faster and harder as the day progresses.

- Better pay schedule and arrangements for preload and reload, $13 isn't much for only 4 hours of work.
What I like about the company
I do not have a positive personal experience working at UPS in Cass City MI. I only really work there for the health benefits.
What I dislike about the company
Communication is lacking between management and employees. Everything is micro-managed, we're human not robots, sometimes it would be nice to see a little leniency when we fail as humans because there is no perfect human on this planet.
