Being among fine artwork does nothing define the culture of the company.
Support from management
Only as long as it benefits the owner...
Employees do well to accomplish their goals when left to do so.
Freedom to work independently
Depending on the whims of the owner, the employees have a range between freedom and micro management to accomplish their work.
That was not my experience.
If being subjected to the ideas popular in the of the fifties is equality, we have not progressed. Well into the twenty first century.
Office / Work Environment
The comfort of the office was better defined by the workers and less by the aging building.
The company had no program for recycling. The employees tried to do their part in spite of lack of owner involvement.
Work always took presidence over personal life and concerns.
The work was challenging for a while, but the realization of no chance for advancement left employees feeling stuck.
Inclusive / Diverse
Opinions are only valued when they coincide with those of the owner.
Suggestions for improvement
- A new outlook toward the future could be better supported by younger management where less micro managing is involved.
What I like about the company
It is no longer my place of torture and frustration.
What I dislike about the company
No room for advancement.
