Suggestions for improvement

  • Better training for supervisors including discrimination and how to promote within the organization. More focus should be placed on being a team and helping everyone to feel as though they are part of a team. Raises, or incentives, for longevity should be given. The environment needs to be one of empathy and compassion, especially when there is a death in the family of an employee, or they are very sick. Sick leave would be good to help improve the overall health of the office. Stop treating employees like robots and help them improve without micromanaging.

What I like about the company

It's a good place to start and you will normally get hired right away.

What I dislike about the company

Training for supervisors should include anything outlined in EEO. Promotions should be based on merit, rather than on friendship. The building needs to be repaired and is not safe during thunderstorms, as the roof leaks and the building will flood. The air quality needs to be checked, because of the leaking roof. Pay raises would be great, especially for longevity. Retention and employee happiness should be more of a concern.

My father had passed recently, and the department lead told me to basically learn to deal with it and move on or quit. He died not even two weeks prior.

Internal Communication

Everyone in that facility is too stressed out to communicate thoroughly.

Office / Work Environment

Everyone looked miserable and acted salty.

Company Image

Yes, their image was very important to them. Almost more important than the mental wellness of their employees.

Job Security

If you don't climb by the next wave influx, you will be cut.
This company hires people all the time to replace it's weaker aspects.

Handicapped Accessibility

Sure, if you get the handicap parking spot before anyone else, you're good. But I knew someone who basically had to quit because she could never obtain a handicap parking space (she was legally handicapped) and they basically told her there was nothing they could do.

Workplace Safety

The security is very tight. Other than the occasional open door in the front ( for the new hires ) they do not relent on the safety of their employees, or their PCI compliance.

Inclusive / Diverse

I will say the company gave equal opportunity to every one that worked there. There was no discrimination in that environment.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Listen to your employees. Give more leniency than 2 days of recovery in the event someone dies maybe.

What I like about the company

They are very open minded and do not discriminate based on someone's appearance or lifestyle. Their employees are free to express themselves.

What I dislike about the company

Disingenuous compassion. They do not care about their employees. Everyone is expendable.
